The Chianti Classico Riserva "Il Grigio" DOCG is born from a selection of the best Sangiovese grapes grown on the Tenuta San Felice estate in Castelnuovo Berardenga. The unique terroir, characterized by soils rich in skeleton and clay of calcareous-marly origin, gives the wine structure, elegance and longevity. The 2021 vintage, with its regular climatic trend and moderate temperatures, favored a slow and complete ripening of the grapes, contributing to the creation of a wine of great balance and complexity.

Tasting notes: Poured into the glass, the Chianti Classico Riserva "Il Grigio" DOCG presents itself with a deep and intense ruby red color. On the nose, it is an explosion of aromas: notes of violet intertwine with hints of ripe berries, such as blackberry and blueberry, and sweet spices, such as vanilla and licorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and structured, with silky tannins and a well-balanced acidity. The finish is long and persistent, with a pleasant return of fruit and spices.

Pairings: Ideal with important meat-based dishes, such as roasts, braised meats, game and mature cheeses. Try it with a wild boar stew or with a pecorino di fossa
